What If Jack Kirby Created Pokemon? – A Creative Exercise
It’s hard to convey exactly how much of an influence Jack Kirby has had on my work as well as the world as a whole. The same can be said about Pokemon, a wildly influential gaming franchise. A few years ago I decided to try and redesign a few Pokemon creatures in a “Jack Kirby” style. Combine the peanut butter and chocolate of the pop culture world, so to speak. Here’s a little gallery of some of the drawings I made!
